View this email in your browser   JANUARY 2024 NEWSLETTER Welcome to our first newsletter for 2024. We hope you have had a relaxing break and are all enthused for a restart to our line dance year. We have spent some time caravanning to recharge our batteries, and then spent some time in Melbourne with the kids and the grandson Michael (now we need the batteries recharged again LOL). We even got to spend a day at the Australian Open Tennis. Over the break our database manager Ilona, has been crunching some statistics to help us plan for the future and reduce the mail we send to ex dancers. Congratulations to Dawn, Daree and Adrienne as they attended the highest number of classes during 2023, we appreciate your support. Thanks to Ilona for a massive effort. Information below on: 2024 Regular Socials Class Changes Holiday Classes Our Web Site Lounge Chairs We will be looking at the individual viability of all our classes shortly, so if you want your class to keep going, please support the instructor and turn up when possible. See you on the dance floor, Liz & Peter Heath and the Instructor Team   2024 Regular Socials We haven't set the dates for the socials yet, next newsletter...   CLASS CHANGES The following changes are happening immediately: Fullarton Monday Late Afternoon Easy level class will be starting at 6pm instead of 5.30pm with Barbara. South Plympton Thursday Afternoon Transition level class will start as usual, but for week 2 and 3, MAY need to start a little later, check with Peter before turning up. All other classes will be business as usual, commencing from the 29th January in most cases.   HOLIDAY CLASSES Barbara has been running some classes through the holiday break in 2 locations (both are air conditioned): They are both beginners/easy level classes, but everyone is welcome to participate to get their fix of Line Dancing over the Summer drought. Here are details of the last two classes: South Plympton Thursday Morning 10am - Noon - Vermont Uniting Church, 576 Cross Rd (Cnr New St) $15. - 25th January Kensington Park Tuesday Evening 7pm - 9pm - Kensington Gardens RSL, 339 The Parade $15. - 23rd January. The classes so far have been well attended and a big thanks to Barbara for giving up some of her holiday break to run them for us all.   OUR WEB SITE Our Web Master Dave has been working hard to make the web site more modern and much easier to navigate. If you have any suggestions or find any issues, please let me know and I can pass on your suggestions. Thanks, Peter   LOUNGE CHAIRS We have 2 leather lounge chairs that are looking for a new home if you want. Just ring first and come and pick them up.
